FEEDING GUIDE

Based on daily amount to feed for dogs between 2 and 49 kilograms.

ADULT DOGS

underweight/very active

feed 3% of weight

Bones will be felt and seen very easily on underweight dogs. Ribs will look sucked in and abdominal form from above will look thin and have a thin waist.

ideal weight

feed 2.5%of weight

Muscular in appearance and your dogs spine, ribs and hips should be easily felt, not necessarily seen. Waist should be visible from above with abdomen raised in side view.

overweight

feed 2% of weight.

Bones will be hard to feel under fat deposits, with fat on the back of the dog and hindquarter. Abdomen will sag. From above you will see fat rolls on neck and little to no waistline.

puppies

Starting your puppy on a raw diet can be straight forward, even if they are already on a processed diet.

If you're thinking about changing your puppy to a raw diet. This can be done by simply starting the raw feeding and stopping the process feeding without having to gradually transition.

If however your dog or puppy has a sensitive stomach or any health complications, we recommend transitioning over a 3-5 day period.

2-4 months

feed 10-8% of weight daily

4-6 months

feed 8-6% of weight daily

6-8 months

feed 6-4% of weight daily

8-12 months

feed 4-3% of weight daily
